The PROGRAM "It's About Change"

The PROGRAM "It's About Change"  was established in 1979 to provide supportive counseling, appropriate programming and advocacy for women when they begin the transition from a restrictive environment back into local communities. 

The goal of The PROGRAM "It's About Change" is to provide services to any woman who has had  interaction with the criminal justice system, suffered from a drug or alcohol addiction, experienced homelessness. Staff assisted goal planning provides the client with the available resources to promote a stable family structure and successful route toward


In recent years, The PROGRAM "It's About Change" has began providing services to men involved in the criminal justice system in an effort to reunite the complete family unit. We believe in strengthening families.

To serve and support individuals involved with the criminal justice system, primarily women and children, to prevent recidivism and promote productive crime free lives.
