HIV/AIDS Comprehensive Risk Counseling Service (CRCS)

Comprehensive Risk Counseling Services

The PROGRAM HIV/AIDS Comprehensive Risk Counseling Services (CRCS) offers services to encourage women and adolescent clients of the agency to maintain and/or adopt behaviors which reduce the risk of contracting HIV/AIDS, becoming re-infected, or transmitting the virus to others.

The agency has advocated services for women offenders for over 29 years and firmly believes that HIV/AIDS Comprehensive Risk Counseling Services are critical to our client’s   rehabilitation and habilitation.

Opportunity

The PROGRAM provides non-judgmental Comprehensive Risk Counseling Services for clients in need of HIV/AIDS risk-reduction counseling.  The Program Coordinator assists the client in developing a client centered prevention/action plan defining the risk-reduction behavioral objectives and strategies that address additional needs.  The Program Coordinator also provides multiple sessions of risk-reduction counseling to include STDs, STI’s, and testing and counseling services.
