The PROGRAM HIV/AIDS Comprehensive Risk Counseling Services (CRCS) offers services to encourage women and adolescent clients of the agency to maintain and/or adopt behaviors which reduce the risk of contracting HIV/AIDS, becoming re-infected, or transmitting the virus to others.
The agency has advocated services for women offenders for over 29 years and firmly believes that HIV/AIDS Comprehensive Risk Counseling Services are critical to our client’s rehabilitation and habilitation.
Opportunity
The PROGRAM provides non-judgmental Comprehensive Risk Counseling Services for clients in need of HIV/AIDS risk-reduction counseling. The Program Coordinator assists the client in developing a client centered prevention/action plan defining the risk-reduction behavioral objectives and strategies that address additional needs. The Program Coordinator also provides multiple sessions of risk-reduction counseling to include STDs, STI’s, and testing and counseling services.
Services are available to agency clients, the general public, HIV seropositive persons, and individuals recently released from prison and/or drug/alcohol treatment sites.
